Jay is a Los Angeles based makeup artist and hair stylist. He is best recognized for creating a beautiful, glowy, dewy complexion. His ability to transform somebody is motivated by his yearning to make his client feel stunning from the inside-out.

Jay made the move to Los Angeles several years ago from San Francisco. During his first year in Los Angeles, he began assisting celebrity makeup artist Etienne Ortega, as well as celebrity hair stylist Jesus Guerrero. While working with them, he strengthened his skill set in both avenues of artistry. Throughout his time assisting, he learned the importance of adapting to any situation.

During his 10+ year career, Jay was given an opportunity to work backstage on the dancers/singers for the Jennifer Lopez Las Vegas Residency: “All I Have”, and did so for its three year run. His experience, talent, and confidence, eventually allowed him to be the key makeup artist for several shows. Jay has been fortunate to have worked on many talented recording artists such as: Ashanti, Melanie Pfirrman, Mikalah Gordon, Pia Toscano, and Shoshana Bean. He is also incredibly grateful to provide services to: Courtney Lopez and Diana Madison on a regular basis. His campaign work, in both hairstyling and makeup artistry, include some of the following brands: Artist Couture, Diana Madison Beauty, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Morphe Cosmetics, Ryan and Walter, Stilazzi, and Yummy Extensions…just to name a few.
